Working as an independent artist for more than 25 years, I've had the opportunity to work in all types of media, using different styles, and for a diverse client base. Through my former company, Britten Grant Event Design, I produced, managed, and delivered countless projects from start to finish. Some of my customers have included: The National Wildlife Federation, Fairfax County Park Authority, The National Air and Space Museum, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, Manassas Ballet Theatre, Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts, Italian Embassy, as well as INOVA, Novant and HelathNet Federal Services. It's been an honor to work with so many prestigious organizations and with the awesome people who represent them.
I have also exhibited my work in solo and in group art shows. While I've worked in many styles, my current work is in the tradition of the Hudson River School. My goal is to create a body of work that celebrates the natural beauty of America. I love hiking through state and national parks. On the trails, I sketch, take photos, and look for inspiration. I hope that, we Americans, will find a way to recognize the priceless value of our environment and take concrete steps to preserve it. I want my kids to inherit a healthy earth and be able to experience our country the way that I have: from the smallest details to the most stunning vistas - a breath- taking source of unlimited inspiration.
